I'm happy slash nervous to share that I've been featured in Elephant Journal. I'm happy because, well, it's Elephant Journal. I'm nervous because I've made a very private and personal experience really public. And somewhere between being a private person and my ex not giving me any consent to write it (although his name is kept out of it), I feel rather exposed. Sometimes we just get urges to do certain things without really knowing why. Best reason I can share is that publicly owning it makes me in control of my story rather than the other way around. I hope I made the right decision and I hope it helps someone somewhere.
